Return Policy

Need to make a return? No worries, all the details are below. FYI, all refunds or exchanges require a valid receipt or packing slip. And sorry, shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Refunds will be made to the tender used in the original transaction, including split tender transactions.

Textbooks

  • Textbooks in resaleable condition may be refunded with receipt within seven calendar days from the start of classes or within 2 days of purchase, thereafter, including during summer term.

  • Textbooks purchased during the last week of classes or during exams may be sold back under the book buyback policy. These purchases are not refundable.

  • In addition, upon proof of drop/add, textbook returns will be accepted from students who have dropped a course up to 30 days from the start of classes or until the end of the official drop/add period, whichever comes first.

Digital Course Materials

  • eBooks are digital versions of an entire print book. eBooks are refundable within 14 days of the customer accessing the content. 30 days after the purchase is made (without the customer accessing the content), whichever occurs first. Additionally, refund requests cannot be fulfilled if more than 10% of the product has been viewed or if any page(s) of the content has been printed.

  • Physical Courseware items, such as digital code access cards, are refundable within 14 days from purchase and unopened.

  • Digital Courseware items, such as MyMathLab or McGraw Hill Connect, are refundable within 14 days from purchase (regardless of the amount of content accessed by the customer).

Non-Textbook

  • Non-textbook items may be refunded or exchanged in resaleable condition within 45 days, with an original receipt.
  • Beauty products must be in sealed/new condition.
  • Gift Cards and Prepaid cards are non-refundable.
  • Shipping, digital and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • Clearance merchandise is non-refundable.
  • NIL merchandise is non-refundable

Hardware / Software

For UNOPENED software and hardware (which would include laptops, tablets, and tech accessories), refunds may be granted if requested within 14 DAYS of purchase. The product must be sealed in the original packaging with receipt.

OPENED software packages, DVDs and electronics are non-returnable.

  • NO refunds on OPENED hardware. Defective hardware products will be replaced or repaired in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. Keep your receipt and read your product warranty.
  • DEFECTIVE software is returnable within 5 days of purchase for an exchange of the same product only
  • Electronic software download (ESD) purchases are final and non-refundable.

Graduation Regalia

Graduation Regalia  (cap & gown) must be in new condition and will not be returnable if worn or altered in any way.  Product must be unused in order to receive a refund. The last day for a full refund is 30 days after the purchase date on your receipt.

In-person refunds

Just take your receipt/packing slip and return it to your campus bookstore.

Returns by mail

  1. Include a copy of your confirmation email or order details with your securely packaged return. If you don’t have this information, include a note with your name, email address, phone number, and order number. Your refund could be delayed if we can’t identify the original purchase details.
  2. Return shipping is at your expense. We’re not liable for lost or damaged packages. Please use a traceable, insured method of shipping when returning your item(s).
  3. Hold on to your tracking information and shipping receipt until you get your refund.
